Les Lumières (the lights)
Les Lumières in Lyon is a celebration that happens every year. All the monuments and a few particular places are lit up every evening for 4 days. These pictures were taken December 5th and December 8th.

Convention center
Where the convention itself took place ... Twelve minute talks, more than a dozen sessions in parallel, from 8am to 7pm for three days, it makes a lot a talks right !
San Antonio
I went to Antonio for a 4 day conference on fluid mechanics. I had some time to visit the city so here are a few pictures. Night view of downtown San Antonio, the Tower of the Americas, the canals and Fort Alamo !
